Corrupt India And The Blind Government

Hello friends..
We all know that Kanimozi and a few other aquintances who were held months back for the Kalainagar TV and 2G Scam , got bail on this Monday-thanks to the Indian Corruption-Supporting Government. And the most Interesting fact is do you all know how the Scamster was greeted?
A leading National Daily reported that "When Kanimozhi arrived at her home from Tihar Jail, she was greeted by fireworks and rangoli or 'kolam' that spelled out 'welcome'..". Wow isn't it? This Happens only in India. What a government India is having! and how Anna Hazare's movement against corruption is becoming nothing but a National outrage gunpowder without any hint of a spark from any where!

There is still more. This government doesn't have proper money to run a nation and depends majorly on the money that they receive from fooling common people on Petrol prices and by making common people fall in the their own traps and being a victim of fines and Penalties. They are aware of the fact that there are crores of black money in the Swiss Banks and even when they know their names and can identify them,God knows why they cant just take out those money and spend on the development of India?Just take a look at what Wikileaks has to say:

Now what to do?You all must be thinking that you all know these things...But that is where the government are getting the chance to get let away! You all must make an uproar! Support this blog..Flood it with comments and share it in all the social networks and do atleast a part from your side!

Is Yuvraj Singh Battling Lung Cancer Or Just Harmless Tumor?

All hail this Singh who is a King!Yes,he is our world cup,2011 hero for India,a man who had been the cause of victory for India in many a occasions, one of the most eligible bachelors in India -YUVRAJ SINGH.

News is there that he is battling a lung tumor which is non-malignant.But a few of his acquaintances and a Bengali Daily says a different story.Though not saying for sure, but a few sources says that his tumor is Cancerous! His mother denied the fact of malignancy and said that the "golf ball" sized tumor is not cancerous.some sources reveal that the tumor is not newly found and he has been through this stage for many a months. Its a great debate of witnesses that the doctor,he is visiting might be an oncologist. And also when asked about what the doctor has to say, Shabnam Singh said that the doctor has told Yuvraj to continue his three things- Medicine,THERAPY and Rest.(Therapy?? Is it Chemotherapy? If not, then why not his family revealing the name of his doctor? Well there are lots of doubts and questions for them to answer the common people).

Now we know why he had abstained himself from many matches. May be the spread of the rumor that "he didn't play a series because Raina was captaining the National side" is a result of this thing. Inspite of this, he is game on! He said he is ready to resume practices from next week and make India proud gain. A true fighter!

In all the news and for all,he is fine and the tumor is non-cancerous.But malignant or not, only time will tell.

Till then lets pray that it be non-malignant and our Yuvi get well soon.Share this with all and write comment to support him in this phase of life just like we all supported him when he hit six sixes!

Why this Kolaveri Di? (With Translation)

A nice song!
Don't agree?  Then perhaps you also are among the lot who after listening the song was having a mixed reaction in their face for:
1) Not understanding the meaning or pronunciation, for not knowing the language.
2) A good rhythm of the song, just like how a fast paced song rings in your ears while any alcohol has its grip on
you! (No seriously its a good one!Appealing and a good voice)!
3) Shruti Hasan's presence.
4) "THE" RAJNIKANTH's son-in-law(Dhanush) singing.
5) Its already a rage in the internet,so it must be good, may be I am not understanding,so it's better that I feel
    good,even if I don't understand it.

If you have experienced or felt like the above then don't worry! You are not the only one!
But it's better if you don't go into the details and just ENJOY.
Let me tell you its has got 19 lakh hits in you tube a few days!!

For your better understanding the translation is given to you as under:

Latest Alarming Issue,India is facing

Well this post is an extract lifted from a website while I was browsing the Internet to see how dramatically again the so called petrol price slash and other commodity prices slash was just going to fade away so soon. The clever government knew something of this sort was about to happen so it did some price slashing to become heroes in our eyes for a while but they knew that they again need to hike the price, may be more than what it was and blame it on the Europe debt crisis. We,the common man fall in their traps again and again.READ ON...

Ordinary Indians will feel the impact of the weakening rupee, which hit a record low of 52 to a dollar on Monday, most in terms of high food prices. India imports a slew of food items, such as pulses and edible oil, to meet domestic demand. A falling rupee simply makes imports costlier since India now has to pay more, in terms of rupees, for the same goods and services it imports.
According to a Reserve Bank report, a declining rupee and higher minimum support price  (MSP) announced last month pose fresh risks to food prices, which remain significantly elevated.
Food inflation eased to 10.63% for the week ending November 5, in contrast to 11.81% the previous week, but economists consider this a mere blip.
“Despite a normal monsoon this year and record production of foodgrains last year, food price inflation may not moderate much in an environment of increase in rural wages, significant increase in MSPs and persistent input cost pressures in the farm sector,” the central bank has said.
The rupee has lost over 16% of its value against the dollar so far this year. http://www.hindustantimes.com/images/HTPopups/221111/22_11-pg17a.jpg
“India’s imports account for about 22% of its GDP, and depreciation of the rupee raises the risk of imported inflation,” the RBI report said.
India imports 21% of world’s pulses to meet domestic prices, according to Pravin Dongre, president of the Mumbai-based Indian Pulses & Grains Association.
“Prices of commonly consumed pulses, which have been so far stable, will go up somewhat on the back of a weaker rupee,” Dongre said.
A weak rupee also directly cranks up the government’s fuel expenses, which fans prices of most other goods.
The value of oil imported by India, in dollar terms, has declined since July 2011 owing to a fall in global crude prices. In rupee terms, however, it has increased due to the domestic currency’s depreciation.

Another half of the Cultured India!!

Yes you got it right.. She is the one who resides in many of the computer hard disks' securest zones, sometimes password protected! She is none other than the famous Indian Origin Canadian porn-star SUNNY LEONE (aka Karen Malhotra).

I am not here to write a biography of her nor am I here to endorse her and urge people to see the latest Bigg Boss 5 entrant who enters the House today! Let me get straight to the point... I mean what has happened to India? How can a porn-star be given such a hype in India, a country which has banned  FTV ,the small dresses of the IPL cheerleaders, the film 'Gandu' and negatively criticizes Paoli Dam to show some nudity in a Bengali cinema---- just to show how cultured, pious and aesthetic we are in terms of of our mentality!

Has any one seen how she was welcomed in India with security barriers and an immediate press coverage!!

Why? Just because THE famous Sunny Leone came here to participate in Bigg Boss,as if the sweetest and the most missed daughter of India has returned back to her roots! Last night,I saw her Interview in Headlines Today and Times Now(I didn't see it fully, changed the channel when that interview was getting aired). And it was said that she was approached and welcomed heartily because the BIGG BOSS 5 show's TRP was the lowest among the 5 seasons. So to boot it up she was considered.

And tell the Political Leaders and specially those of Mumbai(you all know who all-samajdaro k liye isharahi kafi hota hain) who claim to be sooo pure(being the impurest),and prompt comes the reply-"Arey,she is not going to get nude and make the show an adult one,so why worry?"...But Sirjee, with due respect to you, 'Did you count the number of page visits that her personal website encountered from Indian IP addresses after the news got flashed? Did you check the new videos of her getting downloaded since then? Did you noticed those who didn't knew her started knowing her both from outside and from INSIDE as well! '.

Nothing to say about the viewers who couldn't protest for the wrong happenings in India, where someone comes to passively advertise about her porn films! Its really worthless of you all to sit at home and enjoy, specially who are from the "I am pure, and I am a cultured and Proud Indian" lot.

Good Bye and Think about it!

A day at the Indian Statistical Institute

Well all of you must have been heard the name of ISI..no? Arrey not the Pakistan Intelligence cum terror supporting outfit....Its the Indian Statistical Institute.Well I am into a project at the ISI Kolkata for the past 3months,a project I dont want to mention but which is stated by many as a project to be completed within 3 days..

Anyways the project is still 30% incomplete and yesterday I went with my two other friends cum project partner HARI and CHANDRIMA to finally finish of the project(offcourse we couldnt finish even 5% of the remaining)..the day started like this..

Toinggggg(my sms tone!), flashed an sms in my much coveted blackberry.
'hapy chilled rains' or better chill drain's day..c u at ISI,11am sharp!today we will finish it off sure'- It was Hari,my sleep murderer."Arrey yaar kya tu bhi...destroyed my sleep for the godforsaken project which cant be done by me,how many times do I have to admit it!" Anyways woke up to see it was already 9:30 and freshened myself, grabbed the Times of India and like always sipped the coffee when its time for the hardworking lot to start their work at their office. It was another Toinggggg sound that came to my ear and the sms read 'where are you?we reached.you lazy hog!'-this time Chandrima. "Opps its 11!Arey what happened to me?Read the newspaper for over an hour!"..A wry smile surfaced in my face,a bit proud feeling that I can atleast read for over an hour!My semesters are knocking at the door and more than my mother's scoldings for myself not studying 1/10th of any hour at a stretch, the newspaper episode made feel good..The 3 Idiots film plashed on my mind and for a sec my super lazy, always searching for shortcuts brain felt "I can easily become a newspaper editor for a living noh!".Then the shouting from my mother made me ready to leave house by 11:45 in a manner almost like when you opt for an operation theater and gets up with no info on how and when you got operated as if in no time.

12:05Am,at ISI Kolkata- (Yes no need to raise eyebrows,I admit that I am lazy yet was late by an hour though the venue is the nearest to my house as compared to the rest two).
Hari- Welcome Sir,we had been waiting for you to start our project left over.(a pause with a fearsome look, his eyeballs fixed to my guilty face)..Sala,(beep),(beep)..,(beep).
Chandrima- This is not done..(she didnt say anything but may be the beeps in her mind were numerically more).
Me- Hey you all..nothing to over react..(didn't say anything more.)

We started of work in a computer lab, which can definitely called Antarctica, and I recommend all who do wish to visit Antarctica must visit the lab...It has a freezing temperature to protect a handful of costly computers (They behave as if we don't own computers and know nothing about their maintenance, huh!).Anyways we accepted the torture and started the work. Was usual We got struck in the same portion where we left last day.Why the hell did I opt for Engineering, that to IT!!! Just when we were about to boost up our morale as we got an important info from GOOGLE(our textbooks, our mp3s,our movie dvds and every other things a teenager would require :) ),we saw our mentor came in an gave a free self-esteem-lowering speech making us admit that we were inefficient and went back.Aah I forgot to tell about our mentor- He is Mr.Bose, a Mister Bose and strictly not a Professor Bose at the ISI,who claims to be teaching PHP to all Mtech students but still require the 'Learn PHP in 10 days' book and whose name surfaces at the bottom of every journals published of the least interest at the ISI premises.

It was almost 2,when due to him we had to remove our foot from the accelerator pedal and brake our boosted energy to again remind of ourselves why did we took up engineering! "I am hungry, lets go out and eat..had enough work already",said both Hari and Chandrima in a jolt. A cocktail of emotions was playing in my mind.To go out of the torture or to finish off the silly work that seemed never ending due to our innocence.. Finally being Me, I opted for the former and we three of us went to a not-nearby restaurant to firstly have good food and secondly and most importantly to kill time and escape the torture in a way which later would translate as 'Arrey we were eating,so time passed away..we were not chatting toh!'.

Back at the ISI by 5 (yes we wisely wasted a lot of time,[semester though not only knocking at the doors but also peeping inside without our permissions!!]),with a determination to work for another 1 hour..Went inside to find the machines still on and our codes flashing with the bubbles screensaver of Windows 7 in the foreground.
I don't want or rather feel wise enough to discuss the how the next 1 and half hours passed with PHP Bluefish editor giving way to Facebook screens in all out three machines..It was heights when we were chatting among ourselves sitting side by side!

6:30pm, we were out of ISI with no back up of the work that we did yeaterday as actually we didn't do anything if it is summed up.Again My silly brain did the trick..Made me felt proud with the same wry smile, that atleast I can spend so many hours at one of the most premier Institutes of India!Internally I felt this time "I can easily become the Supervisor of the Lab at ISI noh,for a living? No work just supervise.."..I went back home only to get praises from my mother for being so dedicated..I felt guilty but still it felt good to.Atleast for a change,a 22 years old getting praises instead of scoldings.Anyways I ended the day with two soap operas,I prefer not to mention, for being tagged girlish, had a sumptuous dinner and went to sleep only to wake up today at 9am to write this blog!

Today,November 13th

Hello Friends.Wish you have read my previous posts and liked them.Today I am not here to write a story.I am here to bring out a reality that the common India faces..Today morning while looking at the newspaper,Anandabazar Patrika- A Bengali daily, the cover page had a huge picture of Sachin Tendulkar pointing out at you in the Edens..I quickly recollected that "Oh its Ind vs WI Test series going on..so today it might begun in Kolkata". But to my surprise I saw that it was written that it will begin on 14th not today. It was the picture while he was practicing-with a tag which when translated says 'Aim targeted(for his 100th ton)'. How long?Tell me for how long will we give such front page importance to things like this and get fooled by the media? What has happened to India? Why is not there a picture of the many rape victims, many abused, many murdered, many threatened victims, news with their guilty being caught and punished Not there in the cover page? Why is the common man being treated as objects of demise? I am fed up with the fake promises of the government of making India world-class and making Kolkata London-I am blaming both the central and the state government.Lets be frank and come out of fear and confess that what is the immediate state of India. The governments have no money they say, unable to give pensions sometimes to the retired and sometimes stopping the wages of some group D workers. But ever wondered how the money for the film festivals, the F1 race, the uncountable cricket games are coming? if there is no money to pay the employees then how come these things happen? It remembers me of the GD topic where I was to say about 'India against Corruption'. I know that what I am writing today most of you would feel that I am writing senseless or I am out of words, not a class etc etc...But I don't want a flowery language to describe the state of India?there is money..but getting channelized to make way for the crores of rupees spent on the road shows, the over expensive and less fan following games and sports, the film festivals, the illicit dancing shows at various parts of the India where the MPs meet.A ban in the short dress of the IPL cheerleaders doesn't make the MPs and MLAs pure or their speeches about religion make them pious nor a ban in the Fashion TV make India seem a Cultural country. Its their nature that creates their identity. What did we do to stop them from filling their own pockets? The income tax officers come and search for black money but the money taken is not gone to the government but to them, same as the traffic police and the ticket checkers who impose fine only to buy a bottle of a whiskey on his way home from the hard earned money of the others. Did we do a protest like in Libya?Alone the lokepal bill won't help.Who will punish the guilty even if the amended lokepal bill is published? One has to be honest to compare himself with that corrupt no?where is that honest man who has the guts to say "yes you are unjust.you are arrested according to the lokepal bill"..Did we protest in the Internet by taking the pains in our ass and write something to the Ministry and keep on writing till they meet our needs? The media whom the world salute to do things that is impossible to do without its help, can be such a medium as to spread the anger of the commoner. But we don't use it.we use it only to watch the never ending soap operas and bogus movies of over-aged heroes doing roles as if in their early 20s. We promote corruption and the fooling business of the media to sit idle and watch the abused, tortured, looted cry and see the picture of Sachin Tendulkar practicing in Edens in the front page of the newspaper. It makes me laugh that a land of 120 crores don't have the power to oust the corruption from the country which is as simple as ousting the few hundred unjust politicians and promoting some EDUCATED just and honest people in their chair. I know that you didn't like the post where I shared my rage in a jumbled manner..bit sorry couldn't help it. I cant make the shameful status of India a story for you all to put a smile in your face. wake up and fight against corruption.

My 11.11.11- A day to regret....Read it as a story.

Well hello friends...My long awaited 11.11.11 finally came to reality when I woke up only to see what made the breaking news-Aishwaria's delivery or Rockstar's release..To my surprise nothing I saw in the TV, instead it was Australia vs South Africa's raining of wickets in one day and their competition of making history of making the lowest total in a test day, that was making news...anyways a drop of the toothpaste foam dripped down to my vest  in my effort to evaluate their success or failure...Ohh,did I forget to mention my mom's shouting?? Well from now onwards I will not mention further as it remains a constant 'k',value unknown(I am an engineer boss, kuch to pata hain..dont laugh or make an expression if you feel that its the worst PJ you have ever came accross).

Anyways, then feeling fresh and grabbing the newspaper(I have a condition that no one will read my newspaper before I read it first--yeah yeah I know that's bad) I went to my room to open it and read the same news again that I just saw on TV with a cup of tea.Actually these are tactics of wasting time..Again I am an engineering student, who I feel have the best ability to waste time without being noticed.Time passed by,till I looked at my clock and it was 8! ''Shittt..I need to rush.I have a campus interview today(that I came to know only some hours back, all credit to my ignorance)"....Suddenly all those unread news seemed unimportant to me and I closed the paper as if I was interviewed to get those news..within 1 hour I was ready and took the daily allowance from mom and "off I go!.." Took the college bus by persuading the helper of the bus who otherwise don't take students who have not paid for the bus fees, saved the money for something constructive though ended up buying a can of sprite at the end of the day adding to my over increasing tummy.

At 10 I reached the venue-my college which was almost like a deserted terrorist place a few days back after the protests of final year students due to bad campussing issues. The officials of the company called 'Acropetals' (my friend gave it a meaning-a crow sitting on a petals, seemed true to me though) came in and we settled in a room to give the test. After some super boring introductions all 133 students in the room, hoping to sit on the top of the crow may be,started the test and it concluded in 1 hour.I did a few portions on my own and then did a lot of eyeball exercises to surprisingly landing up among the top 33 who cracked the round one!!
Next the GD round...Mine was a batch of 9. To my surprise the tall black guy speaking a weird language over the phone(which I later knew to be Kannada) asked us to suggest him some GD topic and I,grabbing their attention suggested him "India Against Corruption".Then some of my friends suggested theirs. The guy consulted with a lady and chose mine.I started off well, in fact brilliantly getting a weird but good confidence ans ended on a high note.News spread among the students from the mouth of those present in the room that I spoke brilliantly and I must get through to the next round.I was happy for the first time after a long while that my name was in lips of others for a good cause.

Then came the reason why I titled my post like this.. a friend came down and said that the results were out and I was.........NOT SELECTED!!!!!!!! Many of my friends nearby witnessed how the contours of a happy face gets molded into a sad face..I wanted to cry.."How can I be not selected...I did so many things, spoke so well!!!".My heart started to feel heavy and my idiotic brain for long was disturbing me with a headache for long which added to my woes. But some how I managed myself and diverted my sorrows to give place to the happiness I got when I heard some of my classmates got selected.

I scurried back home with a heavy heart and told my mom the story.
"What?you had campussing today?I didn't know...You didn't tell me?",she said in a tone I would prefer not to remember.
"Yes,I had..I didn't want to make you feel tensed or disturbed,so..",came my reply to her though my eyes were fixed to the floor. Yes, I had taken my college dress in my bag and  though looked typically odd,I managed to put on a formal shoe which was not at all suiting the casuals that I wore while getting out of home.My mom almost caught me while I was on my way to leave house today when she saw the blue file I usually carry while going to face any interview.Somehow I made up a story.I lied to my mom saying I had practicals because I didn't want to prove each time that I am worthless and a failure and make them feel that their money for making me an engineer has hone to waste.

Okay enough of my 11.11.11 and I must stop now lest my straining eyes add up to the 'still' continuing brain ka locha(headache).

See you soon..good night...Read my blog and spread my blog and be a follower.

The Beginning

Hello...I wont give any formal introductions and would come straight to point.I am new to blogging..being inspired by the young writers of today I have started to write.
Watch out.I will post in no time!!!
I am sure to grab the attention of all in a short time even though my beginning would make most of the daily bloggers say "yaak,is it blogging?tu abhi baccha hain.." and make a weird expression on their face thinking I am much better than you boss/baccha..
